3. Arrival & Late Policy
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session for check-in and our brief safety introduction. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid affecting other bookings. Missed sessions are non-refundable.
The sauna will be situated in the car park of The Ship Inn, which means parking here may be limited. As such, please ensure you leave enough time to get to your session on time. There is additional parking available near by and along the road surrounding The Ship and the beach car park is approx. a 10 minute walk away.
Please note: Appropriate footwear must be worn in The Ship Inn car park. Guests must bring suitable footwear or they may be refused their session.
4. What to Bring
To ensure comfort, safety and hygiene, guests must bring:
Your own clean towel(s), we recommend one large towel for sitting inside the sauna and one towel for drying off after the sea. Please note: we do not keep any towels for guests and so please remember yours!
Suitable footwear, such as flip-flops or sliders, for moving safely between sauna, sea and across the car park.
Swimwear (to be worn at all times).
A water bottle to stay hydrated.
5. Health & Safety
Your wellbeing is our top priority. Please take a moment to review the following:
All guests must complete a short health questionnaire and consent form before their session.
Sessions are open to those aged 16+ (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
Guests enter the sea at their own risk. Please consider safety, local guidance, weather, currents, temperature and your own ability and experience before entering the water.
Please do not use the sauna if you:
Are pregnant
Have a heart condition, high/low blood pressure not managed by medication, or other serious medical concerns
Have a respiratory illness, circulatory disorder, or contagious skin condition
Have open wounds
Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please consult your GP before booking.
Always listen to your body. Sauna and cold-water immersion can place additional demands on the body. Please consider your own health, fitness and experience before taking part, and leave the water or sauna immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, faint or otherwise uncomfortable.
Follow all instructions provided by The Norfolk Sauna Co team.
Dangerous or disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
