BOOKING DEPOSIT
A deposit is required to secure your booking. We’ll provide details once we’ve confirmed your dates. 

 

Please note that if your booking is cancelled within 7 days of your hire, your deposit will be lost and is non-refundable.

 

DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A refundable damage deposit is required. This is returned in full after your hire period, provided there is no damage to the sauna on collection.

 

You are responsible for the sauna during your hire period. Any damage will be deducted from your damage deposit. Please make us aware of any issues or damages as soon as possible. A damage check is completed with you on delivery and collection.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Changes to your booking or cancellations made more than 7 days before your booking will receive a full refund of the deposit. 

 

Changes to your booking which we're unable to cater to ie. location, or cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable and will result in your deposit being lost. 

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather that may cause danger), we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule.

 

HEALTH SAFETY DISCLAIMER
The Norfolk Sauna Company provides mobile sauna and cold plunge hire for private use. By booking with us, you agree that use of the sauna, cold plunge, and any additional equipment is entirely at your own risk.

 

Sauna and cold plunge use can place stress on the body. It may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, including but not limited to: cardiovascular issues, circulatory problems, high or low blood pressure, respiratory conditions, pregnancy, or recent illness or surgery.

 

It is your responsibility to consult a doctor if you are unsure about your suitability for sauna or cold plunge use.

 

We provide a safety briefing and written guidelines upon delivery, which must be followed at all times.

 

The Norfolk Sauna Company accepts no liability for injury, illness, or accidents sustained during the hire period.

 

By booking, you and your guests acknowledge responsibility for your own health, safety, and wellbeing.

 

For your safety, alcohol and recreational drugs must not be consumed before or during use of the sauna or cold plunge.

 

We reserve the right to cancel bookings or refuse use if we believe this policy is being ignored.

 

CHILDREN
Adults over 18 may use the sauna and cold plunge. Children over 12 may be permitted if supervised by an adult, but we ask that you contact us first to make us aware.

Cold-water immersion is not recommended for children. Older teenagers may participate with parental supervision, but we ask that you contact us in advance to discuss suitability.

 

Children under 12 are strictly forbidden from using the sauna or ice bath (as are pets!).

 

LOCATION
We require flat, stable ground with clear access for delivery. Please let us know if there are any obstacles such as narrow driveways, limited access, or uneven terrain. Please note that the sauna trailer is 2.5m wide and so we require a minimum width for access, ie through gates and driveways. 

 

Delivery is included within 5 miles of our base in Horsham St. Faiths, Norfolk. Beyond this, travel is charged at 50p per mile. We’ll confirm any additional cost for delivery to your location with you before finalising your booking.

 

For safety reasons, the sauna or ice bath must remain in the location we set them up in. Please do not attempt to move them during your hire.

 

No power is required as the sauna is a traditional wood-fire. 

 

If you’ve requested the cold plunge, we’ll need access to a tap to fill it when we arrive. (we bring the hose and attachments)

 

A full drinking water dispenser is included in every hire to help keep you hydrated. If you want to refill the water dispenser, remember to bring your own water. If you are in a rural location and need us to bring extra, please just let us know.

 

FIREWOOD
Only firewood from The Norfolk Sauna Company may be used in the sauna as other types may cause smoke inside the sauna, could damage it or be harmful to guests.

 

We supply enough wood for approx 3 hours (that's around 12 sauna sessions), but if you’d like to keep the sauna running for longer, we are able to provide additional firewood on request (additional charge applicable at £7 p/bag) and will arrange with you on confirmation of your booking.

 

Please let us know at the time of booking or at least 72 hours prior to your booking if you wish to purchase more firewood.
